
Two Romanian citizens have been arrested by the Fier Police as part of the operation codenamed "Transit", after being accused of engaging in prostitution.
ID, 21, and GB, 45, both residents of Romania, were arrested. According to police, they had rented an apartment, which they used to carry out illegal activities.
In connection with this case, two other people have been placed under criminal investigation, while investigations continue to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident.
During the operation, as material evidence, the police seized 250 euros and 5,000 lek, which are suspected to have been derived from this activity, as well as a vehicle and five mobile phones.
"As a result of investigations conducted using special methods, for another prostitution case, specialists from the Trafficking Investigation Section of the Fier Police Department, in cooperation with the services of the Special Operational Force, within the framework of the "Transit" operation, arrested the following citizens: ID, 21 years old, and GB, 45 years old, both residents of Romania," the police announced.
