An environment adapted for the illegal development of gambling has been discovered by the Tirana Police. It is reported that a 38-year-old man with the initials FK has fallen into the hands of the blue police.
According to official sources, during the intervention in a bar on "Kajo Karafili" street, under the administration of the 38-year-old arrested man, equipment used to organize gambling was found.
Four electronic machines, a poker table, and other items related to this activity were seized at the scene.
"The Sector for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes, based on information obtained regarding a case of adaptation of a premises for the development of games of chance, have organized the work within the framework of the coded operation "Gambling Fate".
As a result of which, citizen FK, 38 years old, resident of Tirana, was arrested in flagrante delicto.
On "Kajo Karafili" street, in the premises managed by the 38-year-old, 4 machines used for gambling, poker tables and other items suspected of being used for organizing gambling were found.
Controls against this illegal activity continue in various entities and environments.
"The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further action," the police announced.
