10 thousand narcotic plants were destroyed by the police of Shkodra during an operation in the deep mountainous areas of the villages of Kir and Pult. The police have arrested Arben Shpati, Pavlin Shpati, Aurel Fejzo and have declared Gjovalin Shpati, Artan Shpati, Aleksandër Shpati, Fatmir Shpati, Mhill Shpati and Aleksandër Rrasa wanted.

They had cultivated 10,274 cannabis narcotic plants in the villages of Kir and Pult, which were destroyed by the Police in August, within the 12th phase of the "Clean Alps" operation, 3 citizens were caught and detained, the work continues for the capture of 6 others.
These 9 citizens, who acted as a criminal group in the field of narcotics, are suspected of cultivating narcotic plants in other areas of the Shkodra Highlands.
The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Shkodër Police Station, as a result of several months of investigations, in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the Shkodër General Jurisdiction, based on the information provided by the information intelligence, have made it possible to identify the authors of suspected of cultivating 10,274 narcotic plants in the villages of Kir and Pult, which were found and destroyed by the Police in August 2023, within the 12th phase of the "Clean Alps" operation.
As a result, 3 of the suspected perpetrators, citizens: A. Sh., 34 years old and P. Sh., 41 years old, residents of Bardhaj village, were arrested and detained. AF, 23 years old, resident of Gramsh.
Also, the following citizens were declared wanted: Gj. Sh., 37 years old, A. Sh., 30 years old, A. Sh., 34 years old, F. Sh., 34 years old, M. Sh., 31 years old and A. Rr., 23 years old, residents of Bardhaj villages and the New Group.
These citizens have family and social ties with each other and from the investigative actions it is suspected that they cooperated by acting in the form of a criminal group where each one had their own role, from providing narcotic seeds to cultivating, producing and selling narcotics.
In cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office, work is being done on clarifying and legally documenting other cases of cultivation of narcotic plants by these citizens, in the area of Dukagjini" , the police announced.
