A 37-year-old man has fallen into the hands of the Tirana Police, after being caught with firearms and ammunition in the bar. It is about citizen Aurel Lazaj.
During the coded operation "Surprise", the firearm and ammunition were seized.
"The services of the Narcotics Investigation Sector of DVP Tirana, following the work to prevent and combat criminal activity in the field of illegal possession of weapons, based on the information provided on the operative route in a bar on "Him Kolli" street, there was an armed citizen, they organized and finalized the coded police operation "Surprise", for his capture. During the operation, the Police services intervened in the bar where the citizen Aurel Lazaj was staying, and during the physical check they found a firearm, a pistol with combat ammunition", the police announcement states .
So the procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, for further actions.
