The Court of Fier has sentenced Mirjete Hajdinaj, the girlfriend of Nuredin Duman, to 1 year and 3 months in prison, who in March 2022 was arrested by the police in Fier, together with Duman and Henrik Hoxha.
But due to the shortened trial, Hajdinaj, a citizen from Gjilan, Kosovo, was finally sentenced to 10 months in prison.
But this prison sentence has been suspended, causing the court to decide to serve the sentence on probation for a period of 20 months, forcing the convict to maintain contact with the probation service in Kukës and during this time not to commit any criminal offense.
"Ora News" has learned that Hajdinaj pleaded guilty to one of the two charges brought by prosecutor Genci Mane, that of "Possessing firearms and ammunition without permission". As for the charge of "Supporting the perpetrator of the crime", the case has been dismissed.
The decision to sentence Mirjeta Hajdinaj was taken a few days ago by the judge of Fier Ersida Bejgora, who accepted the request of the prosecutor Genci Mane, declaring guilty and initially sentencing the Kosovar citizen Hajdinaj to 1 year and 3 months in prison, for the charge of "Unauthorized possession of firearms and ammunition".
During the investigation and trial phase, it turned out that Mirjete Hajdinaj is the person who took a Kalashnikov assault rifle from Nuredin Dumani and hid it under the bed, in the apartment where Nuredin Dumani, Henrin Hoxhaj and Mirjete Hajdinaj stayed.
