A serious incident is reported to have occurred yesterday in Saranda.
A 20-year-old man from North Macedonia was found dead in his vacation home in the coastal city of Saranda. According to police, the incident occurred on July 26, in the city's No. 1 neighborhood.
Police announced that the victim was found by family members while in the apartment where he was staying during his stay in Albania.
The Blues inform that from a preliminary examination of the victim's body, no signs of violence were found.
"Crime Investigation Specialists at the Saranda Police Station referred materials for evaluation, after on 26.07.2025, in neighborhood no. 1, Saranda, in the apartment where he stayed during the holidays, citizen OJ, 20 years old, resident of Macedonia, was found without signs of life by his family. From the preliminary examination, no signs of violence were found, it is suspected that the 20-year-old died of natural causes ," the police announced.
