The Police of Vlora and the Rapid Intervention Forces this evening have landed in the city of Vlora to carry out checks related to the capture of the wanted persons as part of the coded "Temple" mega-operation.
Media sources inform that RENEA operatives have arrested 5 armed persons on Vlorë-Skelë boulevard and 2 pistols have been seized.
The arrests were made thanks to an action of the RENEA forces in a bar along the boulevard, while the officers have surrounded the area and continue the search.
The 5 arrested were under surveillance by civilian police agents and it is suspected that they physically clashed with them.
RENEA forces have placed tapes in the bar on the boulevard where the arrests were made.
We remind you that as a result of the Temple mega-operation, more than 230 people were arrested by the police. Those arrested were connected to groups that distributed drugs and narcotics in different cities of the country.
From the operation, over 80 people were declared wanted.
