New details have come to light from the operation to capture a quantity of 300 kg of cannabis that was allegedly imported from Albania.
In the photos published by the Montenegrin media, it can be seen that the narcotic substance divided into packages was placed between the boards inside a truck.
By order of the High State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica, two 60- and 24-year-old Albanians (father and son) from Durrës were arrested. They are suspected of the criminal offense - production, possession and distribution of narcotics.
"The drug was found in a truck with Albanian license plates and was placed in the cargo space of the truck and secured with a customs stamp by a foreign administration," writes Vijesti.
"The structures for the investigation of narcotics, in the Criminal Police Department, in the General Directorate of the State Police, in cooperation with the Montenegrin police, are investigating a case of trafficking in an amount of about 300 kilograms of cannabis sativa narcotics, from Albania to the Mountain of Black. During the check on the truck loaded with boards and pallets, which were destined for Austria, the customs authorities of Montenegro, during the detailed check, found a quantity of about 300 kg of cannabis sativa narcotic.
