The 39-year-old Gëzim Gashi, who is accused of 67 criminal offenses, was arrested after many efforts and continuous searches. 5 arrest warrants were issued against him, but for a long time he was not able to be found by the Kosovo authorities, while Gashi was sheltering him in the capital.
For 22 of the 67 criminal offenses, the 39-year-old has already been convicted, some of them are for possession of weapons, their supply, transport, production, exchange or unauthorized sale, theft in the forest, assault on an official person, falsification of documents, fraud, aggravated theft, menacing and contempt of court.
He is suspected of threatening the prosecutor Ersan Qavolli who is investigating his case. Gezimi's brother also had to deal with justice twice, because he forged documents, and he was arrested together with him, in a house that was not theirs.
Together with him, Gezimi's brother, Faik Gashi, was arrested for forging documents. They were arrested in a large action of the Special Unit on October 30 in the "Arbëria" neighborhood of Pristina.
