Other details from SPAK's operation today in the city of Elbasan are revealed. The prosecution has hit the gang of Suel Çela, a well-known character for the law enforcement agencies, as well as the people who cooperated with him.
Officially, it is known that 21 security measures have been given, where 18 are prison arrests, one house arrest and two mandatory appearances. Two journalists Artan Hoxha and Elton Qyno are required to appear.
According to the latest information, SPAK has issued an arrest warrant for Suel Çela himself, wanted for years, and his brother, who is under arrest in Italy.
Meanwhile, the names of all the people who fell into the net have been revealed. They are: Marjus Lulaj (alias Suel Çela), Mario Çela, Jhino Roka, Klaus Matishi (alias Klaus Çopja alias Kledjan Çopja), Sergej Hasanpapaj, Bruno Hazizolli, Ledio Zabeli, Marcel Roka, Ado Xhika (alias Elkier Cerriku alias Ado Cerriku). , Preke Kodra, Fuad Verzivolli, Metin Mehja, Renato Hasani, Skender Sufaj, Pajtime Fetah, Dedan Gjoni, Marsel Shega (alias Bujar Shega), Hajdar Lala (alias Hajdar Xaka alias Hajdar Sefa), Blerina Beqiri, Elton Qyno and Artan Hoxha.
Suel Çela was declared wanted in May 2022 within the "Golden Bullet" operation organized by SPAK. According to the testimony of Nuredin Duman, he is the initiator of three events: 2 unrealized and 1 remaining in the attempt. Suel Çela is accused of having ordered the failed assassination of Elton Kila on March 29, 2022, which was to be carried out by the associate of justice, Nuredin Dumani, but who was injured on the way and then arrested.
Suel Çela was convicted in Italy for drug trafficking, but he managed to escape prison. In November 2019, the Court of Elbasan decided to acquit Çela of the attack on the police at the Elbasan food market
As part of this operation, checks were also carried out in several apartments in Tirana and Elbasan. The Special Prosecutor's Office has clarified that the operation for the execution of security measures, which is being supported by Europol and other Albanian and European law enforcement agencies, is ongoing, while a full announcement is expected on Tuesday, in order to preserve the integrity of the operation.
But Bujar Shega, also known as Marsel Shega, is among the many arrested. He has been detained in Italy, as he turns out to be a very important character in the Elbasan area and as Suel Çela's right-hand man.
He has two cleaning companies and has received almost all the tenders of municipalities in Elbasan district that are related to waste. In addition, he has strong political connections. Shega has close ties with former MP Aqif Rakipi and has served as a mediator between political alliances in Elbasan in many cases.
