A serious incident was recorded this afternoon in Malqi, where a 14-year-old boy lost his life after a knife fight with a peer.
According to information, two 14-year-olds stabbed each other in a bar in the village of Pirg, injuring each other.
After the fight, the two minors were rushed to the hospital, but one of them (14-year-old E.XH) could not survive the injuries he sustained and unfortunately passed away. The other 14-year-old is receiving medical attention and is out of danger.
Meanwhile, the police and the investigation team have arrived at the scene and are working to fully clarify the incident.
"Around 17:30, in the village of Pirg, in the premises of a bar, a conflict occurred, allegedly with a cutting tool (knife) between two 14-year-olds.
As a result of the injuries sustained, citizen E. Xh., 14, died in hospital. The other 14-year-old suspected perpetrator of the incident was taken to hospital for treatment and is under police supervision.
"The investigative group under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office is working to clarify the circumstances of the incident ," the police announced.
