The Tirana court released Eduart Lamin, who was arrested at the beginning of the year immediately after the murder of Lulzim Visha. Despite unofficial versions and real reasons why the police went to the apartment to conduct searches, while they were searching for the perpetrators of this crime, the authorities found no clues or evidence to link Eduart Lamin to the execution of Visha.
He was found guilty only of illegal possession of weapons and was sentenced to a reduced sentence of ten months in prison, which during the hearing was determined to have been paid off with the time spent in pre-trial detention. For this reason, the court ordered the immediate release of the 37-year-old, who was handcuffed by Tirana police in the apartment belonging to his cousin, Ervis Lami, where an automatic rifle with a silencer, cartridges and a pistol holster were found, reports "TCH" journalist Anila Hoxha.
We recall that on January 24, Lulzim Visha, who worked as a postman, was found murdered inside a car in the village of Zall Mner. One of the leads that the police investigated was that of the murder after a land conflict, but the possibility of revenge murder was not ruled out, as the victim's brother had killed citizen Refik Domi in 1997.
The perpetrator had served his sentence for this crime and the perpetrator's family has had no further problems. However, despite the investigative actions to solve the murder of Lulzim Visha, the perpetrator has not yet been identified.
