Shkodra Police have arrested 18-year-old Arvin Fregjaj, suspected of stabbing 32-year-old Vildan Kepëca, an incident that occurred this morning inside the polyclinic, in the "Vasil Shanto" neighborhood.
According to the Police, the young man is accused of the criminal offenses of "Attempted Murder" and "Unauthorized Possession of a Cold Weapon."
His father, 53 years old, was also arrested, suspected of being an accomplice in the crime and of supporting the perpetrator after the incident.
According to the official announcement, at around 11:30, after a conflict over weak motives, the 18-year-old stabbed the 32-year-old, who was immediately transported to the hospital and is under the care of doctors.
After receiving the notification, the Police services headed to the scene. During the intervention, the officers received information that Arben Kepëca, 41 years old, the brother of the injured man, had taken a pistol firearm with a cartridge in the chamber and was heading to find the suspected perpetrator.
Police intervened in time, preventing the conflict from escalating. According to authorities, the 41-year-old attempted to flee and threw the weapon he was carrying, but was caught and arrested in the act.
The investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, continues its investigations to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident.
