Massive fight in Saranda, the Court leaves two police officers in jail (Details)

Two of the police officers involved in the mass fight that happened in Saranda on Friday evening will stay in jail, while the others were ordered to appear.

Alvaro and Inklid Sulejmani will have to stay in custody after the court of Saranda assigned the security measure to 'prison arrest'.

4 police officers were involved in the mass fight that happened on Friday evening.

According to the evidence, the two brothers Enea Nexhipi and Albion Nexhipi ran a car rental business. Policeman Alvaro Sulejmani owed him a debt related to a car he had taken from them. He went to the house of the Nexhipi brothers after midnight together with 10 other people, beating them and throwing them with hard objects. There were even gunshots.

The two brothers Albion and Enea Nexhipi were injured with hard objects but their lives are out of danger, the police informed the day after, while the police arrested 4 police officers: Alvaro Sulejmani and the 2 brothers Inklid and Mihal Suljmani as well as their cousin Ergis Sulejmani. 4 other citizens have also been arrested, while 2 are being investigated at large and 2 others were declared wanted.
