The motive for today's assassination attempt in Shkodër is suspected to be revenge. Arjon Kajoshi faced a barrage of bullets while driving his car, as the perpetrator is suspected to be Alban Bruçi.
According to the first information, on June 3 of this year, the brother of the target, Arlind Kajoshi, injured the author's father, Vladimir Bruçin, 62 years old. The incident happened after a fight over the parking space.
The champion boxer of Vllaznia, 27 years old, escaped the bullets, as the Police said that from the investigations they identified the young Bruçi as the perpetrator.
The latter was also filed by justice for other events, such as the murder of Ismet Çekora in 2022. But no charges were brought against him because no evidence was found.
The police clarified that for the violent fight in June, in which he was also a part and his father was injured with hard objects, after the incident, Bruçi was arrested and taken away, leaving him free for investigation.
He was among 6 people suspected of being involved in the conflict and was declared temporarily wanted, as he was later released after giving a deposition. " We clarify that the AB citizen is not wanted by the Police for the conflict that occurred on June 3, 2024. The AB citizen, after the police search (for that event), was caught and gave a statement regarding the conflict that occurred. After consultation with the Prosecutor, this citizen was criminally prosecuted and was being pursued in a free state ", says today's official announcement.
It is not known if Bruçi targeted the boxer as a revenge, or if he thought that the wanted Arlind Kajoshi, who injured his father, was in the vehicle.
