
The Italian police destroyed a drug gang while 38 people were arrested, among them there are Albanians.
Preventive measures against 38 suspects and seizure of over 10 million euros. This is the result of an operation carried out by the officers of the Provincial Command of Trento, who carried out an order of the investigating judge of the Court of Trento.
There are 27 people in prison and 11 in compulsory residence. The precautionary measures, executed in the provinces of Trento, Turin, Milan, Bergamo, Brescia, Bolzano, Verona, Pavia, Cremona and Livorno, were given at the end of a detailed and complex investigation.
In general, the investigation includes 38 subjects, of which 36 are foreign nationals (Albanian, Tunisian, Moroccan and Portuguese), held in various capacities responsible for having participated or cooperated in two complex criminal associations, which, linked between them, were involved in the trafficking of narcotics (cocaine, hashish, marijuana and heroin), coming from other Italian regions and destined almost entirely to Trentino.
The sale of narcotics usually took place in Trento and Rovereto, near or inside public parks and gardens, and targeted a dense network of customers, even young people. Over 49 kg of hashish, 20 kg of cocaine, over 5 kg of heroin, approximately 12 kg of cutting material, 1 firearm, cash for over 111 thousand euros and various materials for drug packaging were seized.
