A TNT explosion occurred in the early hours of this morning in the village of Rrilë, Lezha, where the target was the apartment of citizen Mirash Gjoni.
According to preliminary information, the incident reportedly occurred at around 03:00, when a quantity of explosive material placed near the apartment exploded, causing material damage to the building. Fortunately, no injuries were reported from the explosion.
Immediately after the alert, police forces arrived at the scene, which launched investigations to fully clarify the incident and identify the perpetrators.
This incident comes just a few weeks after a similar incident in the Rrila area. On May 21, an explosive device was placed in Tom Çung's villa, causing material damage. The perpetrators of this incident have not yet been identified.
Investigators are verifying whether the two events may be related, while work to uncover the motives and perpetrators continues.
