Doctor Kiço Stefanidhi spoke to the media this Sunday regarding the serious crime that happened yesterday in the family, Muhollari in Përmet.
The doctor said that the 24-year-old Albi Muhollari was not aggressive but simply had mood disorders. He denied having documentation or information about his health condition, according to him, even his family members did not give you any information about his condition in America.
Among other things, the doctor stated that he had performed the visit 2 days before the crime took place and that with as much information as he had, he could not act differently than he did.
" For the specific case, I don't know him at all because he lives in America. I didn't have information from family members about any problem. For the second time in two days in the emergency room of the hospital. He was evaluated by us with communication and proper care with stable reasoning and there was no sign of aggression, he received sedatives and went home. There may have been mood disorders which are very common. I had no clue about him because he lives in America. Common practice is that patients who are aggressive (which this one was not) should not be transferred to another hospital. There was no sign of aggression. The visit with me happened two days before the events.
If his treatment had started in America, which I don't know about, there is no documentation, then it could have been prevented. We assessed the case as ordinary. As long as he stayed here, we didn't have to insist on getting other data about this because they didn't give us any data that he had problems even in America", said the doctor for "Repot TV".
