Two Albanian women, mother and daughter, 38 and 19 years old, have illegally used the credit card of an elderly woman in Italy.
The mother, who had been working as a caregiver in an elderly woman's home for several months, had the ATM card and the code, with permission to use it only for the elderly woman's needs.
After some time, the family members of the elderly woman noticed a significant lack of money from the current account and therefore went to the police station to file a complaint against unknown persons.
The police immediately activated investigations with bank checks, interrogated witnesses and watched the bank's security cameras, where they discovered that the caretaker, together with her daughter, had gone several times to the ATM to make withdrawals. Some were authorized, with the corresponding amounts handed over to the elderly woman, while an amount of several hundred euros was put into the pockets of both of them without the account owner's knowledge.
Mother and daughter of Albanian origin, who have been living for years in Città di Castello, are being investigated at large.
