Two Albanian citizens accused of criminal activity in the field of narcotics are extradited to Albania.
32-year-old Gjergj Luli was extradited from Italy, accused of being a member of a structured criminal group active in the field of narcotics.
This citizen is suspected of having sold a quantity of the narcotic substance cocaine to two other Albanian citizens, who then trafficked and sold the narcotic substance in Italy.
While 48-year-old Arben Cufe was extradited from Greece, accused of organizing the trafficking of a quantity of cannabis narcotics in Greece.

As a result of the continuous exchange of information, between Interpol Tirana and its counterparts, with the aim of locating, capturing and extraditing citizens wanted internationally, in the countries where they must serve their sentence, it has become possible to extradite to Albania, 2 Albanian citizens who have been announced in international search, specifically:
- as a result of cooperation with Interpol Rome, citizen Gj. was extradited from Italy. L., 32 years old. This citizen has been announced as an international wanted man after the GJKKO has assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses "Production and sale of narcotics", "Structured criminal group" and "Perpetration of offenses by a structured criminal group" ".
Citizen G. L., in cooperation with the citizen AL, allegedly transported and then sold a quantity of the narcotic substance cocaine, for 200,000 euros, to the citizens RZ and Gj. Mr., who then trafficked and sold this quantity of narcotics in the area of Bergamo, Italy, in the period March-November 2016.
Also, in January 2017, in Bergamo, another amount of cocaine was seized, which is suspected to be the citizens of Gj. L. and AL had sold to citizens RZ and Gj. Mr.
- Yes, as a result of the cooperation with Interpol Athens, AC citizen, 48 years old, was extradited from Greece. This citizen was announced as an international wanted man after, in 2019, the Court assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offense "Trafficking of narcotics", committed in cooperation.
Citizen AC, in cooperation with citizen VH, is suspected of having organized the trafficking of a quantity of the narcotic substance cannabis, in Greece. The amount of narcotics was transported to Greece, against payment in euros by 4 citizens, who were arrested by the Police.
The 2 citizens extradited to Albania were handed over to the General Directorate of Prisons for further procedural actions" , the police announced.
