Two people have been arrested and a third is wanted after it was discovered that they were trafficking cannabis sattiva narcotics from the US into our country using the postal service.
The police announce that as a result of the operation, 5 kg of cannabis sativa, with a high percentage of THC, worth 90,000 euros were seized, divided into packages, 5 mobile phones, 8,000 euros, and other sums of money. .
It is learned that one of the arrested has been identified as 23-year-old Gladis Dikellari, while the second person is a minor.
"Narcotics Investigation Specialists, in cooperation with the Directorate of Customs Investigation in the General Directorate of Customs, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office of the General Jurisdiction Tirana, after several months of investigative work, have finalized the police operation coded "Chicago".
As a result, a group that trafficked narcotics from the USA to Albania, through the ppstar service, was hit, and the citizen GD, 23 years old, and a 16-year-old man were arrested. A SK citizen, 23 years old, was also declared wanted.
