Two people have been arrested by the Shkodra Police after a gunfight that occurred on the evening of June 25 in the "Tre Heronjtë" neighborhood, while another person has been declared wanted.
Citizens Ndoc Lufi, 63 years old, and Aleksandër Fojleta, 27 years old, both residents of the "Tre Heronjtë" neighborhood, were arrested. According to preliminary investigations, the two neighbors had a conflict over weak motives and then fired at each other with the aim of threatening each other.
As a result of the shooting, the gate to the 63-year-old's apartment and a vehicle parked in the yard were damaged.
During the police searches, a Kalashnikov firearm, suspected of being used during the conflict, was found and seized in NL's apartment. Meanwhile, combat ammunition and four cans of suspected TNT explosives were found in AF's apartment.
Following procedural actions, the police declared citizen AF, 26 years old, resident of Shkodra, wanted, as he is suspected of being present during the conflict, but did not report the incident.
Police say that the search for his capture is ongoing, while investigations are continuing to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident.
"The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Shkodra Police Commissariat, following the investigative and procedural actions carried out to clarify the circumstances of the conflict that occurred on the evening of 25.06.2026, in the "Tre Heronjtë" neighborhood, arrested the following citizens:
-NL, 63 years old and AF, 27 years old, both residents of the "Tre Heronjtë" neighborhood, Shkodër.
The investigation suspects that citizens AF and NL (neighbors) had a conflict over weak motives and opened fire to threaten each other. As a result of the shooting, the gate of the courtyard of citizen NL's apartment and a vehicle parked in the courtyard were damaged.
During the search of the apartment of citizen NL, the Police services found 1 Kalashnikov firearm, suspected of being used during the conflict, while during the search of the apartment of citizen AF, they found combat ammunition and 4 cans of suspected TNT explosives.
Following procedural actions, citizen AF, 26 years old, resident of Shkodra, was declared wanted, as he is suspected of being present during the conflict, but did not report it.
Work continues to capture him and to fully document the legal circumstances of the case.
"The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Shkodra, for further action," the police announced.
