The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, commented today on the calls of citizens during the protest who chanted 'Rama in prison, Berisha in prison'.
Berisha called these calls 'slogans and miserable cries of the opposition of the opposition' and added that they 'are not cries that come from the ideals of Albanians, but from small groups of those who are fierce opponents of the DP'.
"The Democrats are all in protest, hundreds of thousands of citizens. I think it was the right decision they made: they didn't go with party symbols, but as citizens."
As for the slogans, there are some moments that have nothing to do with the ideals of youth and citizenship. They are slogans and pitiful cries of the opposition, which, by comparing Rama with Berisha, by comparing two incomparable ones, seeks to soften Rama's position and also to instigate a dead end for its own political benefit.
These are all the grievances and anger of those who enter politics as servants of the government and think they can displace the gigantic opposition, which went through an unrepeatable ordeal in Europe and proved to be the true and powerful opposition of this country.
"Do not be impressed by those cries. They are not cries that come from the ideals of Albanians, but from small groups of those who are fierce opponents of the Albanian opposition," Berisha said.
