A 25-year-old man was arrested today in Tirana, in the "Myslym Shyrit" area, after being declared wanted.
He is accused of drug trafficking and was arrested as part of the "Temple 2" operation, bringing the total number of arrested citizens to 79.
Official sources from the police informed that it is about the UK citizen, 25 years old, living in Tirana.
Previously, during this operation, 14 kg of cannabis, 5.3 kg of cocaine, 170 grams of heroin, 11 electronic scales, 4 pistols, 1 automatic firearm, 70 mobile phones, 11 vehicles, 2,186,000 ALL, 11,610 euros and 630 pounds.
The Services of the Research Section in cooperation with the Narcotics Investigation Services, based on the information provided on the location of a citizen declared wanted as part of the "Temple 2" mega-operation, immediately followed the intensive controls for his capture and bringing him before legal responsibility.
As a result, on "Myslym Shyri" street, a UK citizen, 25 years old, resident in Tirana, was caught and detained. This citizen was declared wanted after the Court of First Instance of Tirana General Jurisdiction has assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison" for the criminal offense "Production and sale of narcotics".
The work continues for the localization and capture of other citizens declared wanted within this mega-operation. The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, for further actions.
