As part of the "Lomas" operation, agents of the Civil Guard in Spain have hit an Albanian criminal group that was involved in the cultivation of marijuana.
The investigation began in 2023 when agents became aware of the existence of a group of Albanian origin who cultivated marijuana inside a large farm.
After the investigations carried out, they confirmed the existence of a plantation located in two different apartments within the same property, discovering 795 large plants, as well as about 4.7 kilograms of buds of the same substance, vacuum packed and ready for sale.
A large amount of money was invested in the plantation, where only the lamps used for the plants are valued at around 20 thousand euros.
Two Albanian citizens were arrested, while a third person, who turns out to be of Czech origin, was also arrested.
Specifically, they have been arrested for the criminal offenses of membership in a criminal organization, drug trafficking and electricity fraud.
