A serious incident happened during the night in Lezhë, where a person burned the bar and 2 vehicles of a citizen at midnight with gasoline. The event happened around 00:15, in the village of Kalivaç.
The police have managed to identify the perpetrator, Ernest Cuni, within a few hours, and continue the work to capture him.
"After the announcement that at around 00:15, in the village of Kalivaç, Lezhë, the bar and 2 vehicles parked near the bar, owned by the citizen P. Gj., 62 years old, were burned with fuel (gasoline), the specialists for The Crime Investigation of the Lezhë Police Station immediately organized the work to identify the author/s and clarify the circumstances of the case.
As a result of the quick investigative and procedural actions carried out at the scene, within a few hours, it became possible to identify the suspected author of the case, EC citizen, 57 years old, resident of Lezhë. Work continues intensively for the capture of the 57-year-old, for the identification and arrest of other citizens who may have been involved in this case, as well as for the documentation of the circumstances with legal evidence. The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Lezhë, for further actions", the police announcement states.
