A serious criminal event has been prevented in Lushnja. As a result, a 49-year-old man was arrested, who tried to kill a 40-year-old man with a knife.
"The services of the Lushnja Police Station, after receiving the notification that there is a conflict in a business (market) in the city of Lushnja, immediately intervened to prevent a possible criminal event. For this case, a citizen, 49 years old, living in Lushnja, was arrested in the act.
This citizen is suspected of having tried to kill with a cutting tool (knife), causing injuries to his head and body, during a conflict for weak motives, a 40-year-old citizen who is currently out of danger for life.
The cutting tool (knife) was seized as material evidence. The procedural materials were handed over to the Prosecutor's Office for further action," the police announced.
