An accident happened this evening, where a 23-year-old man hit a pedestrian with his car in Gjirokastër.
The 62-year-old man with the initials FG was hit by a vehicle while crossing from one side of the road to the other.
It is learned that the 62-year-old man was injured and received damage to his limbs. He was immediately sent to the Gjirokastra hospital for specialized treatment.
Specialists of the investigative group went to the scene to find out the reasons for the accident.
"Around 7:30 p.m., on "18 Septemberi" boulevard, citizen FS, 23 years old, driving a "Volkswagen" type vehicle, had an accident with a 64-year-old (pedestrian), who is in the hospital, out of danger for life.
The driver of the vehicle was escorted to the police station for further action," the police announced.
