A hearing was held this Thursday in the Court of Saranda to determine the security measure for 41-year-old Klementin Islamaj, who allegedly pushed his 69-year-old father, Hyso Islamaj, causing his death, after the latter had killed him. before his mother, 66-year-old Shano Islamaj.
In a very difficult psychological state, Islamaj explained once again before Judge Fatmir Ndreu, the chronology of the event, stressing that he had no intention of causing the death of his father, Hysen Islamaj.
"I am divorced and have three children from two marriages. Two of the children had been in our house for a month. When I heard a noise from the house, because I was at coffee, my neighbors also told me, I thought that he had done something to the children, but when I went there, I saw that he had hit the mother with an ax, splitting her head open. I saw mom's brain on the ground. I don't know how I felt at that moment. I didn't want to kill him, I just pushed him and prevented him," Klementin Islamaj said.
The prosecutor of the case, Valbona Maja, has requested the appointment of the security measure "Prison arrest" for the criminal offense "murder committed under conditions of severe mental shock", while the lawyer Merdan Nora has requested a lighter security measure such as "property guarantee ".
In fact, it was Klementin Islamaj's brother and sister who showed willingness to pay the guarantee, in support of their brother.
Even earlier, when asked, the brother and sister testified that their father was violent with their mother and with themselves all their lives. At the end of the session, Judge Fatmir Ndreu has accepted the request of the Prosecution, assigning the security measure "Arrest in prison".
