The photo of Ilir Beqaraj alias Brahimi, alias Mançellari, who is accused of being one of the two suspected perpetrators of Gentjan Bejtja's murder on March 15 in the backyard of Larushk, has been published.
It is learned that Beqiraj is Ylli Brahim's cousin, who is known as Ervis Martinaj's right-hand man.
Ylli Ibrahimi has escaped several assassination attempts.
On January 14, 2021, Ylli Brahimi escaped an assassination attempt in the center of Milot. He was walking accompanied by two people, when 2 people on a motorcycle shot at him. Ylli Brahimi was injured by this attack.
On July 22, 2022, Ylli Brahimi escaped another assassination attempt, but Klisman Preçi was killed. The two were returning home in an armored car when they were shot with a Kalashnikov.
Five days after the execution of Gentian Bejtja in Larushk of Fushë Kruja, the police arrested two people on suspicion of being involved in the assassination.
Edison Haxhiu and a 41-year-old man with three names, Ilir Beqaraj alias, Brahimi, alias Mançellari, have fallen into custody. The two arrested were previously convicted for other criminal offences.
The police managed to clarify the movement of the perpetrators after the moment they burned the car of the crime. Ilir Beqaraj is suspected of being one of the perpetrators who participated in the execution, while Edison Haxhiu is accused of using the 'Golf' type vehicle for the perpetrators to leave Fushë Kruja.
According to the dynamics of the event, the perpetrators approached Bejtja's apartment and executed him with a Kalashnikov volley. Immediately after the murder, they left with a 'Land Rover' type vehicle towards the Larushk - Thumane axis and burned the car in the village of Hasan.
Then they allegedly left in the direction of Bubq village in Krujë with the 'Golf' type vehicle, whose owner, Edison Haxhiu, was arrested by the police.
