The photo of Admir Tutaj, who was extradited today from Colombia to Albania, is published.
He was wanted internationally for several criminal offences: "Trafficking in arms and ammunition", "Special forms of collaboration with Criminal Organizations" and "Perpetration of criminal offenses by criminal organizations and structured criminal groups".
The Court Against Corruption and Organized Crime has imposed the security measure of "imprisonment" in absentia for the young man.
In April 2023, the State Police undertook an action at the border crossing point of the port of Durrës, discovering threads of Admir Tutaj's criminal activity.
An arsenal of weapons hidden on a wooden table was found and seized in the Benz type van with license plates "KS 15 MZN" as material evidence such as: 6 "GLOCK" pistol firearms with obliterated serial numbers, a pistol firearm "HERSTAL" with no. 1534 P.1 weapon "BROWNING" with no. 2205, a significant amount of ammunition and accessories for small arms.
The investigation showed that the citizen Admir Tutaj, in cooperation with five other people, had secured these weapons on the black market and organized their trafficking to Great Britain.
