Admir Tutaj has been extradited from Colombia. Tutaj was wanted by SPAK for arms trafficking.
This citizen has been announced as an international wanted person, as the GJKKO has assigned the security measure "Prison arrest", for the criminal offenses "Trafficking in weapons and ammunition", "Special forms of cooperation with Criminal Organizations" and "Commitment of criminal offenses by criminal organizations and structured criminal groups", provided by articles 278/a, 28/4 333/a and 334 of the Albanian Criminal Code.
On 10.04.2023. The State Police has organized an action at the border crossing point of the port of Durrës/Albania. In the Benz type van with KS 15 MZN plates, an arsenal of weapons hidden on a wooden table was found and seized as material evidence, such as: 6 - "GLOCK" pistol firearms with obliterated serial numbers, a pistol " HERSTAL" with no. . 1534 P.1 weapon "BROWNING" with no. 2205, 4.., a significant amount of ammunition and accessories for light weapons.
The investigations showed that the citizen Admir Tutaj, in cooperation with other persons such as AH., A.GJ, R.GJ., BT and A.GJ had secured these weapons on the black market and organized their trafficking to Great Britain.
