New details have been revealed by the Italian media regarding the murder of the 39-year-old Albanian Bledar Dedja, who was found on the morning of January 21 in a forest in Paderno del Grappa.
Among the people who have been interrogated is an Albanian woman in her 30s, with whom it is suspected that Dedja had an extramarital affair for two years.
In her statements given to the authorities, the woman admitted the relationship and revealed that she met the 39-year-old in an online dating application.
This seems to be the main track where Italian police investigations are focusing, the crime of passion.
The 39-year-old Albanian was a regular user of these applications and the first suspicions are that he may have known the person who committed the crime there.
The details that become known from the file show that Dedja died from internal bleeding caused by the knife wound that pierced his lung.
The Albanian was shot at least 19 times with a knife in the chest and abdomen. He was found 100 meters from his car, lying on the ground and naked.
In addition to the autopsy, investigators took samples for toxicology tests to determine whether or not the 39-year-old had had sexual intercourse before he was killed.
The suspicion of the investigators, based on the conditions in which the corpse was found, is that Bledari may have been stabbed at the end of an intimate meeting.
The wallet and personal belongings of the 39-year-old were found at the scene of the robbery.
The investigators are also analyzing the Albanian's car to secure any evidence that could lead them to clarify the incident.
Dedja, according to the autopsy, was hit in a lying position.
He had numerous superficial wounds, on his forearm and on the palms of his hands, a sign that, according to the investigators, he tried to defend himself.
