Two Albanians have been extradited from Germany and Greece, as they are suspected of being collaborators in the trafficking of large quantities of narcotics.
It is learned that Eltion Dani, during the period January 2018-December 2022, was part of a criminal group that trafficked large quantities of drugs in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, the Netherlands and Germany.
While Vangjel Hajderasi on 30.03.2018, in cooperation with other citizens, tried to traffic cannabis sativa narcotics towards Greece.
"Accused as collaborators in the trafficking of large quantities of narcotics, 2 Albanian citizens are extradited from Germany and Greece to Albania.
As a result of the continuous cooperation between Interpol Tirana and its counterparts, for the location and capture of citizens declared internationally wanted, in order to extradite them to the countries where they should be brought before criminal responsibility, 2 citizens declared in international search for drug trafficking, specifically:
- as a result of cooperation with Interpol Wiesbaden, a 31-year-old citizen, resident in Shkodër, was extradited. This citizen was announced as an international wanted person after the Special Court of First Instance Against Corruption and Organized Crime, with the decision dated 28.06.2023, assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison" for the criminal offense "Trafficking of narcotics" ", carried out in the form of a structured criminal group.
The citizen is accused that during the period January 2018-December 2022, he was part of a criminal group that trafficked large quantities of drugs in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, the Netherlands and Germany.
- as a result of the cooperation with Interpol Athens, the citizen alias 43 years old, resident in Tirana, was extradited. This citizen was announced as an international wanted person after the Court of First Instance for Serious Crimes in Tirana, with the decision dated 24.07.2019, assigned the security measure "Prison", for the criminal offense "Trafficking of narcotics". carried out in collaboration.
The citizen is accused that on 30.03.2018, in collaboration with other citizens, he attempted to traffic the narcotic cannabis sativa towards Greece ," the police announced.
