French customs officers have seized a large quantity of drugs at the trafficking gate in Saint-Jean-de-Védas.
131 kg of marijuana and 3 kg of cocaine were seized from an Albanian citizen in his van in which he was traveling from Spain.
It was the customs dog, a detection specialist, who helped in this seizure. The quantity of drugs was found in the walls of the van of a 30-year-old Albanian.
The young Albanian, who lives in Strasbourg, claimed he had a delivery to make in Germany before making increasingly confusing comments.
The investigation was entrusted to the narcotics brigade of the judicial police of Montpellier. The individual was brought to the prosecutor's office for immediate appearance, but the trial was postponed to March 22.
