Elbasan police have found and seized a stolen vehicle that was suspected to be used to commit a criminal event.
It is known that after the information provided by the police intelligence, that a vehicle parked in the neighborhood "Brigada 17 Sulmuese" could serve criminal events, the investigative structures of the Elbasan Local Police Directorate went to the area, to carry out procedural actions at the scene and further the investigative ones.
The police carried out checks inside the vehicle, where no illegal items were found, but further verifications showed that this "Ford Fiesta" type vehicle was reported stolen on 15.12.2023, by its owner, a BR citizen.
Thus, the procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of Elbasan General Jurisdiction, for further actions.

At the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, the investigations continue to identify the author/s of the theft as well as to legally prove the purpose of using this vehicle.
