The couple in the photo are the two young people who were involved in the tragic accident in the early hours of the morning in Pishkash, where 20-year-old Megi Xhetani lost her life and 34-year-old Zef Sinani was seriously injured.
The 20-year-old woman lost her life as a result of injuries sustained after the vehicle she was traveling in with her fiancé, Zef Sinani, collided with a truck with license plates from Skopje, as they were returning home.
The couple lived in the city of Mamurras, while the 20-year-old was an only child and studied at the University of Tirana.
33-year-old Zef Sinani was seriously injured in the accident and suffered numerous injuries. The young man was initially taken to the Librazhd hospital and then to the Elbasan Regional Hospital. However, due to his condition, he was transported to the Trauma Hospital in Tirana.
According to the police, the cause of the accident, according to the preliminary investigation, was the loss of control of the direction of movement of the Benz, in which Zef Sinani was traveling together with his fiancée.
"ZS, 33 years old, was arrested after yesterday evening, on the "Prrenjas-Librazhd" road, it is suspected that due to loss of control over the vehicle, the vehicle he was driving collided with a truck driven by citizen BA, 35 years old. As a result of the accident, the driver of the vehicle, citizen ZS, who is under the care of doctors, and the passenger traveling with him were injured, who consequently lost her life ," the police announced.
