An unusual incident was recorded in Durrës, where a 39-year-old man threatened Municipal Police officers with a sporting weapon, specifically a pistol.
According to the police, 39-year-old Gentjan Kërçuku, a resident of Tirana, attempted to create fear by presenting himself as a law enforcement officer. The incident occurred during a conflict over weak motives, while the Police reacted immediately by catching and arresting him in flagrante delicto.
During the arrest, the weapon used in the threat, a sporting pistol, was seized.

The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Durrës Police Station arrested citizen GK, 39 years old, resident of Tirana, in flagrante delicto, after during a conflict for weak motives, he threatened Municipal Police officers with a sports pistol, introducing himself as an employee of law enforcement structures.
"The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Durrës, for further action," the police statement said.
