The Police Supervision Agency (AMP) has arrested a State Police employee, identified by the initials EM, after being accused of the criminal offense of "Domestic Violence".
According to the official announcement, it is suspected that the officer has exercised physical violence against his minor daughter. After immediate investigative actions and with the authorization of the prosecutor, the AMP has carried out his arrest.
The procedural materials have been referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Tirana, while the arrested officer has been made available to the prosecution for the continuation of legal procedures.
In its response, AMP emphasizes that it remains committed to protecting legality, ensuring accountability, and strengthening citizens' trust in law enforcement institutions.
