A 38-year-old man, identified as Elton Muça, was arrested by the police after he allegedly stole 17,000 euros from his brother's apartment in April last year.
The police informs that his wife, who is suspected of being an accomplice in the said robbery, has also been prosecuted in connection with the theft.
According to the blue uniforms, a vehicle has been seized, which is suspected to have been bought with the amount of stolen money.

He stole 17,000 euros from his brother's apartment, in April 2023, the 38-year-old wanted man was caught and put in handcuffs. His wife, an accomplice in this theft, is being prosecuted. 1 vehicle suspected to have been purchased with the amount of stolen money was seized.
The services of the Elbasan Police Station, following the work to clarify and document the thefts that happened before and bring the perpetrators to legal responsibility, after a several-month investigation, with proactive methods, in cooperation with the Elbasan Prosecutor's Office, have organized and finalized the operation coded police "Batha".
As a result of this operation, citizen EM, 38 years old, resident of the village of Bathës, was arrested and imprisoned, pursuant to the arrest order issued by the Prosecutor, for the criminal offense "Theft". Also, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where the proceedings were initiated in a free state for the citizen KM, 37 years old (the wife of the citizen EM).
From the investigative actions, it is suspected that these two citizens, on 23.04.2023, stole 17,000 euros from the residence of citizen MM, in the village of Bathës. As material evidence, the vehicle of citizen EM was seized, which this citizen is suspected to have bought with the stolen money. The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of Elbasan General Jurisdiction, for further actions", the police informs.
