31-year-old Juxhin Koka has been extradited from Spain to our country. The young man was declared internationally wanted after being accused of corruption, smuggling and theft. SPAK has assigned him the security measure of "prison arrest" after smuggling 200 thousand liters of oil from a ship in Durrës.
Juxhin Koka is accused of the criminal offenses: "Active corruption of persons exercising public functions" committed in collaboration, "Theft" committed in collaboration and "Smuggling of excise goods" committed in collaboration".
On February 2, 2025 in the city of Durrës, citizen Juxhin Koka, in collaboration with other citizens, bribed police officers and stole 200,000 liters of oil from an anchored ship.
According to "A2 CNN", as a result of the cooperation of Interpol Tirana with Interpol Madrid/Spain, his arrest in Spain was made possible, finalizing his extradition to our country.
The incident dates back to January 27, when, according to SPAK's investigations, the officer had the role of guarding the ship "AYAZANOYBYA" anchored in the Port of Durrës, coming from Tanzania, which was carrying around 200,000 liters of smuggled oil on board.
Armand Marvataj is suspected of having received a bribe of 10,000 euros from Juxhin Koka, in order for the latter, together with his associate, to extract oil from the ship and then replace it with water to lose track.
