The operatives have intensified their search for finding and capturing the two Frroku brothers. The police are also in ongoing negotiations with the Frroku family so that the two brothers surrender and do not resist by staying hidden to escape the blue uniforms.
During the negotiations, the Frroku family has given positive signals that the two suspects may turn themselves in to leave the matter in the hands of the state. The father of the Frroku brothers, according to sources from this family, during a conversation with the police in the ongoing negotiations, stated that "life is not spent in the mountains".
However, so far such a thing has not yet happened and the police are waiting for the final decision whether Edmir or Gëzim Frroku will decide to surrender or not. A day ago, uncle Zef Frroku stated that it is difficult for someone to surrender to this state, but due to the deepening of the negotiations after the serious event, such a thing is expected to happen.
After a conflict that started on June 28 of this year, two citizens were killed with pistol shots, while another was wounded in the leg. Initially, the victims Ersild Ishmi and his brother-in-law Arsid Hoxha were involved in a physical conflict with the Frroku brothers and then weapons were used.
From the shooting, Ishmi and Hoxha were seriously injured and then died in the regional hospital of Shkodra, unable to survive their injuries, while a waiter, Zyber Zagradi, was injured in the leg. The police have so far detained the two accomplices of the suspected perpetrators, the waiter Zagradi and the citizen Mario Pali, a relative of the Frroku family.
The police and the prosecutor's office of Shkodra are continuing the investigations for the complete clarification of this serious event that happened on the evening of August 19 in Velipoja with two victims and one injured.
