Lezha Police have identified two vehicles that are suspected to have been used by the perpetrators in the murder of Kreshnik and Gentjana Mujeci. According to sources, one vehicle is black, while the other is gray, while investigators are verifying the license plates to identify the perpetrators.
Preliminary information suggests that there were four people in these vehicles, who followed the "Audi Q7" vehicle driven by the 39-year-old for several kilometers. According to verification, one of the vehicles cut off the victim's path, while two of the perpetrators then opened fire in bursts. At least 40 shell casings were seized at the scene.
After committing the crime, the perpetrators fled towards the Torovica area, which offers several exit routes towards Velipoja, Shkodra and Shëngjin.
The investigations have focused on several leads, the main one being revenge for an event that occurred about 10 years ago. In that case, Kreshnik Mujeci was suspected of being involved in the execution of Genc Mhillaj on Mount Jus, in Shkodra, an event for which he was not convicted.
Following the investigations, the police have conducted searches in several apartments in the areas of Torovica, Malecaj and Balldresa.
