The court of Vlora has left two hotel employees in Dhërmi, 33-year-old Daniel Qose and 30-year-old David Lart, in prison.

The court has decided the security measure "prison arrest" for the two employees Daniel Qose 33 years old and David Lart 30 years old, who helped to hide the evidence for the murder of 31-year-old Eraldo Nevruzi.

They eliminated personal belongings, clothing, phone and anything else that would be evidence by burning them in the pizza oven.

31-year-old Eraldo Nevruzi was executed by 43-year-old Gerald Shehu at Hotel Greccia in Dhërmi.

The court session was directed by judge Dorina Stroka and prosecutor Vijuna Mata, while the court expressed the legal evaluation of the arrest and the security measure "arrest in prison".

Both perpetrators have expressed regret for the action, saying that they were under the threat of a gun.

The body of 31-year-old Eraldo Nevruzi was found shortly after midnight on Wednesday, June 6, in a quarry near the village of Vuno.

He himself was the suspected author of the serious crime during the interrogation in Greece, where he was arrested at the Corfu airport in an attempt to travel to Spain with destination England, who has shown where he had thrown the victim's body.

43-year-old Gerald Shehu "disappeared" the lifeless body of Eraldo Nevruz with the help of two hotel employees, 33-year-old Daniel Qose and 30-year-old David Larti.

How did the murder happen?

The serious incident happened shortly after midnight on Wednesday around 00:30 in the premises of the "Greccia" hotel in Dhërmi. 43-year-old Gerald Shehu (co-owner of the hotel in question) for still unclear reasons, executed the 31-year-old hotel receptionist Eraldo Nevruzi with a firearm.

According to the police, Shehu shot him with a gun in one of the hotel rooms, after he had taken the shift and after disposing of the body, he fled towards the neighboring country, Greece. The author is suspected to have escaped in an "Audi" type car, which was found near the port in Saranda and then traveled to Qafë Bota, helped by other people.

The 43-year-old had his final destination in England, but he was caught at the airport by the Greek Police with the intention of extradition to our country.

From the investigations so far, it is said that there are two preliminary tracks of the investigation: one for a banal instant conflict and the other for previous acquaintances and involvement in illegal activities in England where both the victim and the perpetrator lived and worked.

Meanwhile, in front of the jury, Shehu stated that he shot in self-defense after the victim attacked and insulted him first, while he asked not to return to Albania as his life is in danger.

Meanwhile, the Albanian authorities are speeding up the procedures for his extradition to Albania to face the charges.
