The Court of Corfu has set this Saturday 40 days in prison for Gerald Shehu, the author of the murder of the receptionist Eraldo Nevriku in Dhërmi, in the hotel where the author was a co-owner.
Before the jury, it is reported that Shehu stated that he shot in self-defense after the victim attacked and insulted him first, while he asked not to return to Albania as his life is in danger.
Meanwhile, the Albanian authorities are speeding up the procedures for his extradition to Albania to face the charges.
