The police have arrested the wanted 57-year-old Agim Zela, after accusations of attempted murder.
Zela was sentenced by the Tirana Court of Appeal to 6 years and 8 months in prison after attempting to kill a person. Meanwhile, from the sentence, he has 3 years and 4 months left to suffer.
He tried to kill Bensik Vata after a conflict over fishing nets in the Patoku Lagoon area.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Lezhë, for further actions.
"The services of the Kurbin Police Station caught and detained the citizen Agim Zela, 57 years old, a resident of Mamurras. This citizen was sentenced by the Court of Appeal of Tirana, with 6 years and 8 months of imprisonment, for the criminal offense of "Murder", remaining in the attempt", says the police announcement.
