The Tirana Court has set the security measure of "prison arrest" for Enea Zyferi, the 25-year-old arrested for the disappearance of Eglant Koçi, who has been missing since June 5.
Zyferi, a waiter at the bar owned by Armand Shakaj, a person wanted for the kidnapping of the 34-year-old, was arrested by the Tirana Police on charges of supporting the perpetrator.
During the court hearing held this Wednesday, the 25-year-old denied any connection to the incident and the charges brought against him.
Meanwhile, the investigation team's investigations continue intensively. According to the evidence collected so far, both scientific and circumstantial, there are strong suspicions that Eglant Koçi may have been murdered and then his body disappeared.
Authorities are continuing their search to find the 34-year-old, while the focus of the investigation remains the location and arrest of Armand Shakaj, who is considered a key person for the full investigation of the incident.
The case remains under investigation, and it is expected that future developments will shed more light on the fate of Eglant Koç and the circumstances of his disappearance.
