The abduction and disappearance of Taulant Malsh from Lezha, an event that happened in 2018 in Malaga, Spain, is one of the two main tracks that the police are investigating in the hope of solving the murder of Fation Dervish in the village of Sukth in Durrës.
Sources near the criminal police in Durrës inform that the disappearance without an address in Spain of Lezhjani Taulant Malshi is related to the Sukthi incident due to the victim's brother, Fatbardh Dervishi.
The latter is currently serving a prison sentence in Albania, after in 2022 he injured his girlfriend from Durrës, in a hotel room while they celebrated the New Year together.
In 2022, Fatbardh Dervishi was interrogated at the Police Directorate of Lezha, as a person who knew and was suspected of the kidnapping and disappearance of Taulant Malshi.
He has denied the accusations of involvement in this event. But the friend of the missing Taulant Malshi, Edmir Vlashi, is one of the people who told the Spanish police that the last person Malshi was with was Fatbardh Dervishi.
The Spanish authorities and the police of Lezha have carried out investigations into the disappearance of Malshi. Edmir Vlashi has raised suspicions that the kidnapping and subsequent disappearance of his friend Taulant Malshi was carried out by Fatbardh Dervishi.
Regarding the circumstances of the disappearance and why he had raised strong doubts about Fatbardh Dervish, it was the fact that in 2018 he had a conversation with Fatbardh, where the latter told him "...I'm taking this to Malaga, I'm throwing it into the sea ...".
But Fatbardh Dervishi denied these claims during interrogation. Because this event is related to the execution of a person from Lezha, the police have raised strong suspicions that the murder committed three days ago of Fation Dervish was carried out for blood feud motives.
The investigations are focused on this point, while the possibility of murder by a member of the family circle of the 23-year-old girl, whom Fatbardh Dervishi injured in the hotel, is not excluded.
The victim, who in recent years was also known as Toni Margen, is being investigated for drug trafficking in the Netherlands. This activity of his is a third track of investigation.
After discovering the fact that the victim was investigated in the Netherlands for drug trafficking, the Albanian police are waiting for additional information from Interpol./oranews
