The 68th edition of the Grammy Awards marked a special moment in the event's history, as for the first time in more than a decade there was no direct confrontation between Taylor Swift, Beyoncé and Adele in the main categories.
The evening was dominated by Kendrick Lamar, the artist with the most nominations (nine), who was also announced as the ceremony's biggest winner with five Grammy awards, including Record of the Year for the song "Luther" and Best Rap Album for "GNX."
Bad Bunny came in second in the number of awards, winning three trophies, including the most prestigious award of the evening, Album of the Year, for the project “Debí Tirar Más Fotos.” Lady Gaga and Kehlani also scored significant successes, with two awards each.
Another industry milestone was the victory of the song “Golden” by “K-Pop Demon Hunters”, which brought K-pop its first Grammy Award, in the category of Best Song Written for Visual Media. Meanwhile, Olivia Dean was named Best New Artist, confirming her status as one of the most promising names of the moment.
The ceremony featured special performances by Sabrina Carpenter and Lady Gaga, and was again hosted by Trevor Noah. The awards honored music productions released between August 31, 2024, and August 30, 2025, in a total of 95 categories.
