
In the 70th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest 2026, the first semi-final has closed, with ten countries securing passage to the grand final of the most watched music competition in Europe.
According to the rankings announced at the end of the night, the first to secure qualification was Greece , followed by Finland and Belgium . Sweden came in fourth place , while Moldova completed the top five .
Among the countries continuing the competition in the final phase are also Israel, Serbia and Croatia, which secured the votes of the public and juries to continue further in the competition.
Lithuania and Poland complete the top ten , closing the first list of finalists for this edition.
The atmosphere in this edition remains festive and highly competitive, with various performances that have sparked numerous discussions among fans. Meanwhile, expectations for the final are growing, as some of these countries are also considered among the contenders for the grand prize.
Modern scenography, strong performances and the public vote are expected to be the decisive factors in the race for the Eurovision 2026 trophy.
While Albania is expected to perform in the second semi-final, which will take place on May 14, 2026 in Vienna .
According to the official ranking published by the organizers, Albania will take the stage 13th in line with the song "Nân" by Alis Kallaçi.
